Inclusion and Belonging
We are a genuinely inclusive school where every child is known, valued and belongs. All pupils have equal access to a high-quality education, and our classrooms are welcoming environments in which difference is recognised and celebrated. Teaching is carefully adapted and lessons are thoughtfully differentiated so that every pupil, including those with SEND and additional needs, can participate fully, flourish academically and feel confident as a valued member of our school community.
Our strong culture of care and inclusion ensures that pupils feel safe to be themselves and develop positive attitudes towards school. We are proud that our sustained commitment to inclusivity was formally recognised through achieving the Inclusion Quality Mark in January 2022, and that we have since been recommended as a Flagship School for our inclusive practice.
Our work with Inclusion Quality Mark and the schools in our cluster has allowed us to grow and develop our provision and offer to make sure everyone we are a true community school for all children.
