Quality of Education
We are an inclusive school. Every child has equal access to high-quality education, we offer an inclusive classroom environment, lessons are adapted to fit the needs of all pupils, differentiated lessons allow for each pupils’ educational needs to be met. We are very pleased that our ongoing work around inclusivity has been recognised and we first achieved the Inclusion Quality Mark January 2022. Our school has been recommended as a Flagship school for our approach to inclusion.
The Inclusion Quality Mark
Ofsted defines an educationally inclusive school as one in which the teaching and learning, achievements, attitudes and well-being of every young person matter, we agree.
Inclusion Quality Mark provides schools with a nationally recognised framework to guide their inclusion journey. Our staff meet half termly with other schools with the same commitment to inclusion. Every year we share our work and our plans to further develop our practice. The annual report ensures accountability which is important for all involved in our school’s work.
Our work with Inclusion Quality Mark and the schools in our cluster has allowed us to grow and develop our provision and offer to make sure everyone we are a true community school for all children.
