The Governing Body of Breckon Hill Primary School has a uniform policy which is detailed below. All our children come to school in a uniform that was agreed in consultation with parents and the wearing of our school uniform is in the Home School Agreement signed with each family.

White t-shirt, black shorts and P.E. shoes are needed.
Pull-on P.E. shoes are best for small children.
Children must change into P.E. kit for hygiene and safety reasons.
Trainers may be worn for outdoor games and activities.
Children who do not have P.E. kit will have to take off their outer clothes, shoes and socks to enable them to join in the lesson. For safety reasons, no earrings or other jewellery should be worn during PE lessons or in school generally.
Your child’s kit should be kept in a named drawstring bag which can be easily hung on a peg.
At Breckon Hill we employ expert help for your children to give them access to more PE time. The Sports Coaches work throughout the school and take classes outside throughout the year. Children need to wear warmer clothing in winter so your child will need outside trainers; school uniform jogging bottoms and a tracksuit type top are provided free of charge.
Children in KS2 receive 2 weeks of daily swimming lessons each year. It is a National Curriculum requirement that all children should be able to swim 25 metres by the end of KS2.
Nursery and Pre-School Uniform
Following parent and carer requests, we have introduced a uniform for our Nursery and Pre-School children.
We have made the colour of the uniform different to the school uniform so the children are easy to identify around the building.
This uniform can be purchased from Lollipops.
